Our Company

Research Works, founded by Dr Kim Baldry, partners with a diverse network of academics and research professionals to deliver evidence-based insights for complex team and organisational challenges. With a PhD in Organisational Behaviour and two decades of experience in academic and applied settings, Kim leads a team dedicated to providing meaningful research that is meticulously tailored to the specific needs of every project.

We operate across sectors as varied as health, education, and banking, collaborating with NGOs and private companies to deliver insights that truly matter.

Our strength lies in our ability to bridge the gap between academic rigour and consulting agility. We don't just ask questions; we listen to the said and the unsaid, providing a research partnership that is collaborative, deeply contextual, and impact-driven.

Our Work

At Research Works, we apply our expertise in behavioural science and advanced research methods to solve complex organisational, social, and developmental challenges. We pride ourselves on bridging the gap between rigorous academic theory and practical, actionable business strategy.

Our recent projects span the corporate, public, and academic sectors, focusing on translating data into insights that strengthen leadership, enhance employee well-being, and inform policy.

Core Areas of Impact

  • Organisational Culture & Employee Engagement: We conduct deep-dive culture audits to diagnose systemic challenges. Our work includes designing Employee Engagement and Leadership 360 surveys to ensure they accurately measure and strengthen workplace culture and employee well-being.
  • Market & B2B Insights: We help organisations understand their growth potential through market segmentation, product testing, and B2B relationship audits. By using data-driven tools, we provide strategic insights to strengthen professional partnerships and inform service delivery.
  • Future of Work & Digital Transformation: A key focus of our current research involves the psychological impact of AI adoption in the workplace. We investigate how digital integration influences core psychological needs, such as autonomy, competence and relatedness, within the modern workforce.
  • Social Development & Policy: We partner with international and local bodies to consolidate research on youth employment and digital skills, providing the evidence base needed to inform government policy and decent work initiatives.

Re-search means returning to something you’ve noticed - looking back with the intention to understand people better. Work signals purpose: a commitment to informing decisions and supporting change. Together, Research Works is a reminder that research is about making answers useful.
